Young job seekers across the nation died while trying to secure what they imagined was a better future and they ended up with no future at all.
One of such people was a woman, simply identified as Lucy, who died during the stampede in the Port Harcourt venue.
Reports have it that Lucy, who was due to be married soon, was buried in Akwa Ibom by her family.
The tragedy has led to calls for the suspension of the NIS Comptroller-General, David Padarrang and the Minister of Interior, Abba Moro.
