Seventy-six days after over 250 girls were abducted from their school dormitory in the thick of the night by the dreaded Islamist militant group, Boko Haram, the clamour for their release has not reduced.
A Nigerian pop singer and peace ambassador , Adokiye has joined the #BringBackOurGirls campaign, offering her virginity in exchange for the kidnapped girls, out of whom eighty were lucky to have escaped.
She made this known via her instagram handle, just a day after the United States claimed that Nigerian officials were frustrating efforts to find the missing girls.
The 23-year-old singer, who is also a United Nations peace ambassador said:
“This is 11pm in the night and do you know what I am thinking about? Those little girls, where they are and what could be happening to them.”
‘It is just unfair. They are too young. I wish I could offer myself in exchange,’ she enthused.
‘They are between 12 and 15 year old girls for Christ sake. I am older and more experienced. Even if 10 to 12 men have to take me every night, I don’t care. Just release these girls and let them go back to their parents.’
If this is real, may her pains be rewarded and may God forgive her of her previous short comings. But how did she got locate the Boko Haram hide out that the. Nigerian and U.S government couldn’t locate?
