Nigerian DJ Obi Sets New Guinness World Record

Popular Nigerian Disc Jockey, DJ Obi has finally broken the Guinness World Record for the Longest Marathon Club deejaying.

The DJ, who opened up on his reason for setting the new record, said, ”I am always thinking of stuffs to do as DJ OBI and think of how to push my brand out there and one of my goals this year was to push my brand globally. After some research, I went to a music outfit, back then, the head of channel O Africa, was talking about how a south African DJ has attempted the Guinness world record for longest DJ set and that’s how where the idea really came from.”

The DJ, while on his journey to setting a new record, received support from several A-list celebrities in Nigeria.

The elated DJ in a series of messages on social media thanked fans and friends for their support while challenging them to set a new record too.
