At the GLO/CAF awards which held last night in Lagos, Nigeria won the highest numbers of awards. Below are the awards won the teams and individuals from Africa’s most populous nation :
Nigeria Super Eagles have won the National Team of the Year at the 2013 Glo/CAF Awards held in Lagos.
The Super Eagles won the 2013 Africa Cup of Nations held in South Africa.
The Golden Eaglets, who won the 2013 FIFA U17 World Cup in UAE was also named the Youth Team of the Year.
The Nigeria Football and other Sports Supporters club was as well named the best on the continent for the year under review.
Super Eagles coach, Stephen Keshi was named the Coach of the Year 2013
The teams were named on Thursday during a ceremony held at the Eko Hotels in Lagos.
