Col. S.K Usman has succeeded , Brig.-Gen. Olajide Laleye as the new spokesman for the Nigeria Army, the military high command has announced .
Usman, who until is new appointment is in acting capacity was the spokesman of the 7th Division of the Nigerian Army, Maiduguri.
The current Director, Army Public Relations, Brig.-Gen. Laleye, has now been transferred to the 4th Brigade of the Nigerian Army, Benin, as the Commander as we reported yesterday.
Usman’s new posting was as a result of recent deployment of senior officers of the Nigerian Army as approved by the Chief of Army Staff, Lt. Gen Kenneth Minimah.
