ASP Drambi Vandi, the Nigerian police officer accused of shooting and killing Omobolanle Raheem on Christmas Day, has been remanded in custody at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre until January 30, 2023.
The Lagos Police spokesperson, Benjamin Hundeyin, announced the development on his Twitter page on Friday, December 30.
Drambi Vandi was, this morning, arraigned in court and has been remanded at the Ikoyi Correctional Centre till January 30, 2023 to give room for DPP advice.

The officer was remanded at the Ikoyi correctional centre on Friday morning, according to Hundeyin.
Raheem, a Lagos-based lawyer, was shot on December 25 while returning from church with her family in the Ajah area of the state.
It was previously reported that the Lagos state attorney-general, Moyosore Onigbanjo, had filed a one-count charge against Vandi for the unlawful killing of Bolanle Raheem.
On Friday, December 30, the charge was filed at the Lagos magistrate court in Yaba.
The officer appeared before Adeola Olatunbosun, the chief magistrate, who remanded him in the Ikoyi correctional center.
