The Nigeria Football Federation(NFF) have reached an agreement with Spanish club,Villareal FC,to allow prolific striker,Ikechukwu Uche,shuttle between his club and the Super Eagles camp in Faro,Portugal.
Villareal appealed to the NFF into reaching the deal,as they are in the second division of the Spanish League,fighting to comeback to the top flight,and would need the services of Uche,who has been in fine fettle for the club.
Nigeria has a game against a Catalonia select on January 2nd,but under the arrangement, Uche will resume training with the Super Eagles tomorrow in Portugal and after the friendly, Uche is expected to travel to Villarreal to help them in their game with the Barcelona B team on January 5th.
After Villareal’s game with Barcelona,Uche will come back to the Super Eagles’ camp in time for another friendly match,against an African opposition,Cape Verde.
Nigeria will proceed to their base in South Africa,Nelspriut,where they will face their group C opponents Zambia,Ethiopia and Burkina Faso.
