Controversial Naira Marley, a musician from Nigeria, was detained by the police when his ex-signee for Marlian Music, Mohbad, passed away.
According to Gistreel, Mohbad passed away on September 12th, and the circumstances surrounding his passing were highly contentious.
Many Nigerians had connected the death of the aspiring artist to Naira Marley and Sam Larry.
Naira Marley, who had been away, denied any involvement in or responsibility for Mohbad’s passing.
He had said he had come to the nation yesterday, October 3, to help the police with their investigation into the singer’s death.
Naira Marley has now been detained by the police as they question him about his alleged involvement.
SP Benjamin Hundeyin, the PRO for the Lagos State Police Command, confirmed this on his Facebook.
