One Cecilia Ayayi on Thursday sought for the dissolution of her 20-year-old marriage at an Igando Customary Court in Lagos state over claims that her husband, John Ajayi, had on many occasions attempted to r*pe her younger sister.

The 45-year-old trader also accused her husband of infidelity.

She said her husband is a womanizer as he brought girls, nursing mothers and divorcees into their matrimonial home.
Cecilia said, “My sister left our house without any notice, when I called her to know why she packed out she told me that my husband had been trying to r*pe her whenever I am not at home.

“That she had to leave because my husband may succeed in defiling her one day.

“On many occasions, he and his lovers had beaten me up wherever I tried to prevent them from entering our room.

“He even impregnated one of the women,” the mother of three added, noting that her husband sent her packing because she was an illiterate.
“My husband sent me packing, saying he can no longer cope with an illiterate.”

In his ruling, the Court’s President, Mr. Adegboyega Omilola, adjourned the case to July 12 for mention.
