Tongues are wagging after Muhoozi Kainerugaba, the son of Uganda’s President Yoweri Museveni, made a striking statement about popular Afrobeats singer Ayra Starr.
In a tweet shared on X (formerly Twitter), Muhoozi, known for his bold remarks, referenced his late grandfather, Mzee Amos, claiming he had been granted the freedom to pursue any woman he desires. He confidently declared his intent to “capture” Ayra Starr.
“My late grandfather, Mzee Amos, gave me permission to get any woman on earth. I will capture that girl, Ayra Starr,” his tweet read.
This declaration has stirred up online discussions, with netizens voicing diverse reactions and opinions. Notably, Ayra Starr, a Mavin Records artist, had earlier wowed audiences during her performance alongside South African duo Blaq Diamond at the 27th edition of Blankets and Wine in July 2024.
