Nigerian actor and content creator Adebowale Adedayo, widely known as Mr Macaroni, recently opened up about his romantic life in a heartfelt conversation on the Dating In Lagos Show, hosted by Ariyiike Dimple.

During the episode, Mr Macaroni revealed that he has experienced deep love before, but certain circumstances have made it impossible for him and the woman he loves to be together. Despite their differences and challenges, he admitted that his feelings for her haven’t faded.

“I’m a single pringle. I’m single and not searching,” he said. Speaking on the dating scene in Lagos, he described it as chaotic and even likened it to “anarchy,” though he clarified he hasn’t been personally involved in that scene.

He further explained, “I don’t have a personal story about dating in Lagos because I’m not actively dating anymore. My last real relationship wasn’t even here—it was back when I was still in university.”

Reflecting on love, Mr Macaroni emphasized that love goes beyond the surface-level gestures like taking photos, shopping, or spending money. “For me, love is about commitment and perseverance. And that doesn’t mean you have to suffer in a relationship,” he clarified. “It just means understanding that it won’t always be rosy. When you say you love someone, you’re committing to give your all—even through the tough times.”
