In a conversation with Daddy Freeze and K Solo, police PPRO Benjamin Hundeyin discussed the police’s strategy for handling Mohbad’s death and the potential for exhuming his body for an autopsy.
In his discussion, PPRO Benjamin made it plain that, as required by law, the police could not have taken any action on the matter if no petition had been filed by a member of Mohbad’s family or a close friend.
He made it clear that, should the police take action without a petition, the case can be rejected in court due to procedural or legal irregularities, as has already happened.
Police PPRO Benjamin noted that they would begin with the petition because they had just learned that Mohbad had submitted one in June.
The police force is now prepared to take action, he claimed, even though he had the information earlier and could have taken action.
The Force PRO released a statement this evening stating that an investigation would begin, and that is what we’re going to do, the PPRO stated while discussing Mohbad’s passing. The body would be exhumed if necessary; it is not too late to exhume the body and conduct an autopsy.
