Three armed men on a motorcycle who forced a petrol seller/phone charger at Kpankunfu village in Taraba state to fill their motorcycle tank at gun point have been killed by a mob.
After the tank was filled, the hoodlums snatched the sum of N12,000 from the victim and subsequent theft of took 19 mobile phones being charged .
The men were also reported to have shot into the air before leaving. However, youths in the area mobilized and gave the hoodlums a hot chase during which the rider suspect lost control of the motorcycle and all fell into a pit.
The three suspects were taken to the hospital where doctors pronounced them dead.
State CIID Jalingo is investigating the circumstances surronding the incident which occurred on Saturday 25th July at about 9:47 p.m.
