Alausa emphasized that Tinubu, at 72, is not abroad for medical reasons, stating that Tinubu receives some medical care in Nigeria. This clarification comes amidst concerns about Tinubu’s recent absence. According to the presidency, Tinubu is expected to return to Nigeria from Europe on Wednesday, May 8.
