Members of Iroko Frontiers, the political group of Ondo State Governor Olusegun Mimiko, which transformed to Believe Nigeria Trust Goodluck, has concluded plans to officially dump the presidential campaign of President Goodluck Ebeke Jonathan in a world press conference in Abuja on Friday.
The group will announce their support for the All Progressives Congress (APC) candidate, Gen. Muhammadu Buhari, the newsday online reports.
A source close to the group disclosed that the group’s decision to finally dump President Jonathan of the PDP for Gen. Muhammadu Buhari of APC may not be unconnected with issue of mobilisation which has practically made it impossible for it to carry its programmes, let alone meet the February mandate.
Meanwhile, the National Coordinator, Mr Idris Usman, has premised the group’s decision to dump President Jonathan for Buhari on lack of integrity and credibility, saying the group had to take the decision at this last minute to save its face.
