Mayowa Lambe, the estranged wife of Roby Ekpo, has stirred reactions online after sharing a video featuring her new husband.
In the clip, which has since gone viral, Mayowa appeared cheerful and at ease as she recorded a cosy moment inside a car with her partner. Dressed in elegant traditional attire, she seemed to signal a fresh start, unbothered by the ongoing controversy surrounding her past relationship.
This comes shortly after reports surfaced that she remarried in the United States, surprising many who were still familiar with her previous marriage to Roby, which began in 2015 and was largely kept private over the years.
While Mayowa appeared to be moving forward, Roby recently spoke about their marriage during an episode of the Honest Bunch podcast, where he made several claims about the challenges they faced.
“Satisfying her how? I would not have s*x till I kill myself. One to two rounds are enough for me. I got married at the age of 37, I am going to be 48 this year, I am not a small boy,” he said.
He further stated that he preferred a moderate level of intimacy, while alleging that his wife wanted it more frequently. He also claimed that she secretly used contraceptives during their marriage, which he believed affected their chances of having children.
“After 11 years of marriage, I woke up to videos and pictures of my wife on Instagram getting married to another man,” he said.
