Marine Police on Patrol along Ikeibiri Community in Southern Ijaw LGA in collaboration with some youths of the community on 28th July, 2015 at about 10.00am recovered one speed boat with the inscription “ Ebimoboere Marine 2” mounted with 75HP Yamaha engine.
Thirty two (32) rounds of live 7.56mm ammunition were found therein. Efforts are ongoing to apprehend the suspected sea pirates. State CID Yenagoa is investigating.
