Nigerian content creator Maraji has reacted to a resurfaced video of media personality Frank Edoho speaking about infidelity and emotional attachment in relationships.

The throwback clip, taken from a podcast interview recorded about two years ago, recently went viral again on social media.

During the interview, Edoho argued that a man can genuinely love his partner while still cheating without developing emotional feelings for another woman. He also claimed that women are generally unable to separate emotions from intimacy.

“It is possible for a man to be in love with one woman and still cheat but still be in love with that same woman. He can be on the phone now and be saying ‘oh I love you, I love you’ and then he sees another woman and he goes ‘I will call you right back’ and he is already invested…but women are not really like that.”

When questioned during the podcast about making broad assumptions about men and women, Edoho defended his opinion by pointing to his marital experience, saying, “This is my second marriage.”

The old clip resurfaced online at the same time Frank Edoho’s second marriage to Sandra came under heavy public attention following unverified reports alleging infidelity within the relationship.

Reacting to the video, Maraji disagreed with Edoho’s opinion, arguing that women are equally capable of separating emotions from relationships and maintaining feelings for multiple partners.
