After nearly being chopped by a cutlass-wielding robber, a man is grateful for his life and well-being.
The incident occurred on the morning of April 20th, shortly before Otedola bridge in Lagos, according to a man identified on Twitter as Dada Temitope.
The glass in the driver’s side of the car was shattered, according to a video he supplied to his complaint.
The burglar had reportedly cut at it, leaving a massive gash on the glass.
Dada thanked God for both his grace and his street smarts.
He further stated that a police checkpoint was only a few minutes away from the site where he was almost robbed, and that when he told the cops what had almost happened to him, they only offered pity.
“Almost got robbed this morning just before Otedola bridge.Thank God for Grace, street OT and my tinted nylon.Thank you @jidesanwoolu i took your advise I rolled up my glass but dem for don use cutlass tear my head this morning.Y’all be safe out thereShout out to Nigerian police @PoliceNG too. There was literally a check point like a minute walk away from the scene and all they told me was “eya sorry, dem carry bike abi” Best in therapy,”
