The long-standing tension between Nollywood stars Lizzy Anjorin and Iyabo Ojo has flared up once again, with both actresses taking jabs at each other online.
The latest round began after Lizzy Anjorin didn’t publicly congratulate Priscilla Ojo — Iyabo’s daughter — who recently announced she’s expecting her first child with Tanzanian singer Juma Jux. Priscilla shared the joyful news with stunning maternity photos on Instagram.
Lizzy’s silence drew criticism, leading some to accuse her of harboring jealousy and ill will. In response, she posted a fiery video, attacking Iyabo and her family. She accused online trolls of double standards and expressed anger over being judged for not celebrating someone with whom she has a history of conflict.
In the video, Lizzy said:
“If she gives birth to 20 children, they will all perish, Iyabo is a disgraceful human being.”
Iyabo Ojo didn’t stay silent. While maintaining that she values peace, she warned that she won’t tolerate threats or defamation — especially when it concerns her children. She reminded the public of previous instances where Lizzy allegedly smeared her name and made threats.
Iyabo declared:
“If anything happens to me or my children, hold Lizzy responsible.”
