Joseph Aloba, the father of the late singer Mohbad, has once again expressed doubts about the paternity of his grandson, Liam.

Mohbad passed away on September 12, 2023, and was laid to rest the following day. His remains were exhumed on September 21 for an autopsy conducted by the Lagos State Police Command due to the controversies surrounding his death.

Amid the ongoing disputes, Aloba, who has been vocal in demanding justice for his son, has also called for an investigation into Mohbad’s wife, Omowunmi, and a DNA test to confirm Liam’s biological relationship with the late singer.

During a recent interview on Silverbird Television, Aloba shared his doubts, stating that Liam does not resemble his son. He emphasized the importance of a DNA test to settle the matter.

When asked if Liam bore any resemblance to Mohbad, Aloba responded, “No, based on what I see, he does not appear to be my grandson. As his father, the child should have been brought to me.

“When I requested a DNA test, they should have said, ‘Go ahead and conduct it at your convenience.’ Now that the issue is public, let the court decide.

“I will only acknowledge Liam as my grandson if the DNA results confirm it.”
