Commissioners for Agriculture, Hon Uchenna Orji and his Local Government and Chieftaincy Matters counterpart, Barr, Samuel Okoronkwo were also affected.

Umahi also suspended the salaries of some Personal Assistants, Senior Special Assistants, Special Advisers and other government functionaries.

The punishment was for their lateness to the School debate on government anti corruption crusade and its internally generated revenue drive held at the Akanu Ibiam International Conference Center Abakaliki.

The governor added that those affected would also forfeit their September overhead.
