The General Manager of Lagos State Traffic Management Authority(LASTMA) has reiterated the agency’s resolve to act better in 2013.

He said this in his new year speech on Wednesday, 3 January.

Below is what he termed LASTMA’s new year resolution

Let’s see if they keep it:

“The watchword will be obedience to the rule of law,respect from motorists and firm implementation of the Lagos Traffic Law.

The experience of 2012 will serve as a guide, and impetus to deliver better and efficient services. The agency has strategically positioned its personnel to move forward, in order to achieve the set objectives of free flow of traffic and accident free Lagos. This is in conformity with the Lagos State service delivery.

“As professional traffic managers,we have mapped out strategies that will increase the level of voluntarily compliance through awareness, sensitisation and public enlightenment. The agency is more determined than ever to enhance sanity, decency, orderliness, and safe road usage, he further added.
