Several months after he was declared wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC), the husband of popular Nollywood actress, Laide Bakare, Alhaji Muttairu Babatunde Babaegbe Orilowo, is still on the Commission’s wanted list.
It was reported some months ago that the man, who Laide Bakare married after her marriage to US-based former husband crashed, ran to Canada to escape arrest by the EFCC.
A check on EFCC’s wanted list revealed that Laide Bakare’s husband is still wanted. His photograph is still on the Commission’s website with the below information.
“The public is hereby notified that Alhaji Muttairu Babatunde Babaegbe Orilowo, whose photograph appears above, is wanted by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC) in connection with a case of Criminal Conspiracy, Obtaining Money under False Pretences and Stealing.
“Dark complexioned Orilowo is 47 years old, 5.7 Feet tall and has brown eyes. He speaks English and Yoruba fluently.
“His last known address is No. 1 Otunba Adeniyi Street, Papa-Epe, Lagos
