A distressing video has surfaced online showing a man identified as John Arum Azi, reportedly a student of the University of Jos, pleading for his life while in captivity.
In the viral clip, the victim is seen kneeling with a gun pointed at him as he recounts how he was abducted while travelling to Kaduna. He explained that he was kidnapped along with six others, making a total of seven victims.
He also revealed that the kidnappers are demanding a ransom of ₦30 million and appealed to the public for assistance in raising the money to secure his release.
According to friends, John, who lives in Jos, was heading to Kaduna to fix a client’s keyboard when he was taken.
