Nigeria’s final list for the FIFA Confederations Cup in Brazil was on Friday made known,after FIFA unveiled the 23-man squad for each team taking part in the competition.
The Confederations Cup,which takes place from June 15- 30 will see eight countries from the different continents,compete in a what is seen as a dress rehearsal for next year’s World Cup.
Coach Stephen Keshi chose eight homebased players in his final list,once again demonstrating his faith in the players from the Nigerian League.
The Super Eagles will be coming up against :Spain, Uruguay and Tahiti in group B of the tournament.

Meanwhile, FIFA has also released the squad list for the 8 countries participating in the competition.
For the group phase, Nigeria is pitched alongside world champions, Spain; South American kings, Uruguay; and Tahiti who will offer the Super Eagles their first test in Brazil.
After the 2014 FIFA World Cup qualifier in Windhoek on Wednesday, the Super Eagles will then fly into South Africa on June 13 and connect to Sao Paulo, Brazil for the Confederations Cup which will start on June 15.
They will on June 14 arrive in Belo Horizonte, venue of their opening match against Tahiti on June 17.
