Nigerian comedian Kamo State has taken to social media to proudly reveal that actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele recently gifted him a brand new iPhone 16 Pro Max, despite her request to keep it private.
During a Q&A session on Instagram, the skitmaker shared that Funke surprised him with the phone — worth approximately N2.4 million — just last week, but asked him not to make it public.
However, Kamo chose to share the gesture as part of a broader acknowledgment of her impact on his life. He emphasized that the posts he makes about Funke only scratch the surface of all she’s done for him and his family.
In his words: “Funke Akindele is a mother to many, even before I met her. I am just the dramatic son; that’s why mine is loud. Just last week, she bought me an iPhone 16 PROMAX for N2.4M and warned me not to post it. The things I post about her are just 1% out of the 100% she has done for me and my family.”
