The brother of Jumoke Aderounmu has shared his thoughts after Funke Akindele was seen in tears in an Instagram Live video in response to allegations. After Jumoke’s death, her brother confronted Funke Akindele for publicly mourning her but not being present during her final moments. He mentioned that Jumoke had tried to reach out to Funke several times through her friends and calls, but to no avail.
Funke Akindele broke down in tears during an Instagram Live session recently, expressing her grief after losing her mother, husband, and political career and trying to rebuild her life. She disclosed that she had inquired about Jumoke when she was still alive and had contacted Jide Awobona, who informed her that Jumoke preferred that people contacted her for job opportunities.
Adeola, Jumoke’s brother, responded to Funke’s Instagram video, advising her to quit acting and pointing out that the actress only contacted him after Jumoke had passed away. He found it strange that Funke did not have Jumoke’s phone number and had to go through Jide Awobona to reach her.
“You reached out when a person don kpai and you expect me to reply? Are you saying you don’t have Jumoke’s number? So na Jide dey help you dey call am before? Cause you dey act give us for Live video now. Na actress you be ma, you no fit dey whine us? His change towards people around you do better”
