The campaign which has seen Scottish people united and as well divided , friends and foes burn bridges in former PM Gordon Brown and PM James Cameron setting aside their difference in a fight to have a United Britain,a campaign which has seen credibility of high profile news vendors BBC and Sky news questioned over their stance in the campaign with false poll projections as residents claim.
Herald Scotland a scotland based newspaper has said the campaign for the yes campaign has gained significant grounds reporting jam in mobile signal as yes activists have a last go before polls begins at 7:00GMT.
Wimbledon Champion Andy Murray who for large parts of the campaign was sitting on the fence gave his support for the “YES” campaign citing the “negativity”in the strategy of the NO campaign with remarks from PM James Cameron, and Labour MP Biliband, in a tweet he said “Huge day for Scotland today!NO campaign negativity last few days totally swayed my view on it, excited to see the outcome let’s do this”
In a last ditch campaign of the Yes campaign first minister Alex Salmond said its their “last chance to leave a mark on history” citing the people have the “power of the greatest grassroot political campaign in Scottish history” describing it as an ” opportunity of a lifetime” which must be “siezed in both hands” while responding to economic and international relations questions which were the NO campaign’s pitch referencing great Economist Adam Smith and Scotland’s favorite son Robert Burns.
