Real Madrid midfielder Jude Bellingham has shared how manager Carlo Ancelotti jokingly threatened to replace him with his younger brother, Jobe Bellingham.
Speaking on his YouTube channel, as reported by Fabrizio Romano, the England international recounted that Ancelotti made the comment after watching Jobe score twice in a match.
Bellingham has become a key player for Ancelotti’s Los Blancos since joining Real Madrid from Borussia Dortmund two seasons ago.
The midfielder is also a strong contender for this year’s Ballon d’Or, following his impressive performances that helped Real Madrid secure the Champions League, La Liga, and other titles.
“I still remember when my brother Jobe scored twice, we were watching the game and Ancelotti said: f*ck… we brought the wrong one! I’m going to bring him here.”
“I said: where are you going to play him?. Carlo said: in your position!”.
