Real Madrid’s attacking midfielder, Jude Bellingham, has hailed Rodrygo as the most underrated yet incredibly talented player in the Los Blancos squad.
Bellingham praised the Brazilian forward for his dedication and selflessness, emphasizing that Rodrygo makes the biggest sacrifices for the team.
The England international shared his thoughts after Real Madrid’s Champions League playoff second-leg victory over Manchester City at the Santiago Bernabéu on Wednesday.
When asked about Kylian Mbappé and Rodrygo’s abilities, Bellingham told CBS Sports:
“Kylian is unbelievable. Everyone knows how special he is.”
He continued, saying:
“Rodrygo is so underrated. In my opinion, he’s probably the most skilled and naturally gifted player in the squad. The things he can do with a football are incredible.”
Bellingham expressed his admiration for both players, highlighting their game-changing impact. However, he pointed out Rodrygo’s unselfish role in the team:
“Rodrygo sacrifices the most. His preferred position is on the left, but he works hard defensively on the right and never complains—he just gets on with it.”
Rodrygo has been a key figure in Real Madrid’s squad since joining the reigning Champions League winners from Santos in 2019.
