The Senior Special Assistant to the President on Public Affairs, Dr Doyin Okupe today (Sunday) rated the performance of the Jonathan administration as “very good” adding that it “has done well and will not relent in its efforts to making the lives of Nigerians better”.
Mr Okupe also said the presidency is not perturbed by the movement of some of the members of the ruling People’s Democratic Party (PDP) to the opposition, All Progressives Congress (APC) as he described the APC “as a sinking ship which is programmed to fail”.
Okupe said the PDP is “totally unperturbed by the parade of political giants that theAPC is courting all over the country” adding that the “APC is spineless and they have no internal leadership of their own”.
Okupe noted that “if they don’t go out and fish in PDP quarters for leadership, they cannot stand” insisting that APC is “doomed and is bound to sink”.
Okupe who was speaking during a press conference in lagos accused the opposition APC of not having leaders amongst themselves.
