Nollywood star Iyabo Ojo couldn’t contain her excitement after winning $1,000 for being the best-dressed actress at the premiere of Omoni Oboli’s film.
Omoni Oboli took to Instagram to clarify that Ojo had won a cash prize of $1K, not $1 million, sponsored by celebrity hair entrepreneur Wanneka.
Oboli praised Ojo for her impeccable fashion sense, which stole the spotlight at the premiere of *Wives on Strike: The Uprising*, while also recognizing the stylish efforts of other celebrities at the event.
“The results are in! Nigerian fashionistas brought their A-game, and we’re proud to announce that the Best Dressed Winner for the Female Category is @iyaboojofespris. You truly are a fashion icon! Congrats, Queen Mother, you lit up our premiere with class,” Oboli captioned the post.
In response, Iyabo Ojo expressed her gratitude, thanking Omoni Oboli for the recognition and prize, saying, “Woooooo, thank you, my love @omonioboli… I’m truly grateful!”
