The United States Central Command twitter and youtube accounts have been suspended after persons believed to ISIS sympathisers hacked  them.

One message said: “American soldiers, we are coming, watch your back. We won’t stop!” We know everything about you, your wives and children.”

Another message on Centcom twitter feed read: ” In the name of Allah, the Most Gracious, the Most Merciful, the CyberCaliphate continues its CyberJihad.”

Pentagon spokesman Army Colonel Steve Warren at a press briefing said the Defense Department “views this as little more than a prank, or as vandalism.”
