Nigerian actress Dayo Amusa, who recently welcomed her first child, has responded to public curiosity regarding the identity of her baby’s father.
Amusa gave birth in the United States on November 18, but she has chosen to keep details about the father private, sparking various speculations online.
During a TikTok live session, the actress clarified that her child “did not fall from heaven” and assured fans that the baby has a father, though she will not disclose who he is. She emphasized her decision was to protect her peace and happiness, saying:
“I realised that some people are so interested in knowing who the father of my child is. Is your husband missing? Moreover, the child is not a fruit that just fell from heaven. He definitely has a father.”
Amusa added that congratulations were not necessary if they felt compelled, stating, “It is not compulsory you congratulate me. If it’s not convenient for you, don’t worry. I do not care.”
The actress explained that as a public figure, she prefers to keep certain aspects of her life private, particularly to avoid negativity surrounding her family.
Fans have since reacted to her bold response, with many praising her for prioritizing her peace and keeping her private life protected.
