On Monday, tragedy struck a section of Ado Ekiti, Ekiti State, when a truck crushed two police officers on motorcycles in the Olawuwo area of the state capital.

According to reports, the driver of the vehicle fled the scene of the accident.
Residents blamed the incident on the road’s poor condition.
The accident has caused traffic to back up on the busy road.
Meanwhile, the victims’ bodies have been deposited in a mortuary.
The police command in the state has yet to comment on the tragic death of the officers.
