Imo State Governor, Rochas Okorocha,at a town hall meeting with the people of Isu and Njaba local government council areas, yesterday, gave the arrest order of some road contractors.
Alleged they abandoned projects awarded to them by the state government after collecting mobilisation fees.
Governor Okorocha said the verification tour of the 27 local councils in the state was to ascertain the level of completion of contracts awarded in each council area and appealed to the people in the area to collaborate with the government to ensure that contractors justify the over N28 billion paid on the construction of rural roads.
