Controversial Cool FM OAP, Daddy Freeze, has taken to his social media page to address a viral report which alleged that he is gay, few hours after his girlfriend’s explosive interview was released online.
The rumour comes after his fiancee, Benedicta Elechi revealed in an exclusive interview with LIB that she filed for a divorce with her ex-husband because he was gay.
Benedicta’s ex-husband, Paul Odekina, is the executive general manager of Human Resource at Total E&P Nigeria Limited.
In her explosive interview, Benedicta revealed that in her 10 years of marriage with Paul, she had s*x just 11 times and at some point, she caught her ex-husband red-handed having s*x with a man in their living room.
She had said; “I filed for a divorce from him because of his sexual perversion and there’s a point where you get to as a human being when you realise that something or what is your aim is never going to work.
“Because when I signed a contract to marry him, I believed I was marrying a man that shared the same type of sexuality with me.
“For example, we got married in 2002, I filed for a divorce 2012. For the period of 10-years that we were married, we actually had sexual intercourse just 11 times in 10 years. He never let me sleep in his room, I have to stay in my own room. He would only come to see me when he thinks we should make a baby.
“Way into the marriage, I caught him red-handed in gay sex. I walked into him in our living room, at about 1:30, 1:40am with a guy I didn’t really know. But he obviously walked in with that person at that time of the night, and I walked into them in our living.”
While reacting to a blogger who misunderstood the identity of Benedicta’s ex-husband to be Daddy Freeze, and published a story referencing the Lagos OAP to be gay, Daddy Freeze wote on his Instagram;
“Look at this….How can someone be fiancée and ex wife at the same time? The juju wey dey pursue this one dey ride powerbike.
“Must every one own a blog? I’m not gay and this is not my ex-wife…. That’s ma @tastebudzng for life.
“You for play come my page first before you jump without parachute. Many can’t read.”
In another post, he wrote: “Sorry guys but I’m not gay o…this is my woman @tastebudzng looking so gorgeous with @topeolowoniyan…..
“NEVER LET A BULLY DESTROY YOU, STAND UP FOR YOURSELF TODAY! THERE ARE NO TEACHERS WITHOUT STUDENTS, NO HUSBANDS WITHOUT WIVES AND NO BULLIES WITHOUT VICTIMS. DONT BE A VICTIM, DONT ENABLE A BULLY!”
Benedicta has a son with Daddy Freeze, though they’re not yet married.
