The Ifa oracle has warned President Muhammadu Buhari and Lagos state governor, Akinwumi Ambode, that sacrifices need to be made for the duo to enjoy a peaceful tenure, according to the Association of African Traditional Religion of Nigeria, AATREN.

The AATREN President, Chief Ifasegun Elegushi, who presided over a special prayer session, noted that it has been the usual practice of the association during its monthly meetings to ask the oracle (Ifa), what it has in stock for the rulers both at the local, state and federal levels.

“After such consultations made through one of the deities, Odus, Ifa Oturugbon, it was revealed that sacrifices should be offered to the gods for a peaceful tenure of our President, Gen Muhammadu Buhari and the Governor of Lagos State, Mr. Akinwunmi Ambode.” he said according to Daily Post.

“Ifa further instructs us to make sacrifices for the peace, progress and protection of the nation and for Lagos State in particular.” he added.

Elegushi also appealed for more recognition of his members by the government.
