Dara, the estranged wife of comedian Ijoba Lande, has finally spoken out regarding the allegations of infidelity leveled against her.
During an interview on Sunday with controversial socialite Esabod and other TikTok users, Dara addressed the claims, insisting that she did not engage in any sexual activity with actor Baba Tee. She explained that during a ‘Truth or Dare’ game at his house, she only sat on his lap while naked.
In a video obtained by NAIJALOG, Dara recounted her version of events:
“The first time I met Baba Tee was in July 2024 when I accompanied my friend, Marygold, to his house. She wanted to invite him to her movie launch. At the time, Baba Tee had no idea I was Lande’s wife. We exchanged greetings, and Marygold requested an alcoholic drink.”
She continued, “Since there was no alcohol in the house, Baba Tee gave his driver his ATM card to purchase some with Marygold. While they were out, I remained in the living room, and we barely spoke until they returned. Upon her return, Marygold suggested we play ‘Truth or Dare.’ I was reluctant at first, but she encouraged me, so I agreed.”
Dara then described how the game escalated:
“Marygold stripped naked and performed oral sex on Baba Tee. By that time, I had taken about ten shots of alcohol, while both Marygold and Baba Tee were smoking marijuana. Marygold then dared Baba Tee to have sex with me in a doggy position, so he went inside to get a condom.”
She added, “When he returned, I refused and told him I wouldn’t allow doggy style but would only sit on his lap. To avoid Marygold watching us, we asked her to turn and face the wall. Nothing happened beyond that—I only sat on his lap.”
Dara’s revelation comes after Baba Tee, who initially denied the allegations and challenged Ijoba Lande to provide proof, later retracted his denial and publicly apologized.
A few days earlier, Ijoba Lande had publicly accused several entertainers, including Baba Tee, of having affairs with his wife. He also claimed that Dara moved out of their home in January 2025 after he discovered her alleged infidelity.
Initially, Baba Tee dismissed the accusations and demanded evidence from Lande. However, in a new development on Monday, he took to Instagram to accept responsibility, admitting his mistake and offering an apology.
In his latest post, Baba Tee stated, “I take responsibility for my mistake.”
