Davido has opened up about a past mistake in his relationship with his wife, Chioma Adeleke, revealing that he once cheated on her before they got married.
The Afrobeats star explained that the incident occurred during a difficult phase in their relationship when things were unstable between them.
“I was most disappointed in myself when I cheated on my wife when we had a little rift back then before we got married. I thought I could have done better because she’s an amazing person,” he said.
Davido admitted that the experience forced him to reflect on his actions, describing it as a moment where he realised the gravity of his mistake.
“That was the only time I knew I really messed up, but I have fixed it and we’re married,” he admitted.
He added that despite the setback, he has worked on himself and made efforts to move forward positively in the relationship.
In another revelation, the singer also shared how he first met Chioma during their university days, noting that she initially ignored him before they later reconnected in Lagos.
