Delta North Senator Ned Nwoko has made it clear that he has no plans to reconcile with his estranged wife, actress Regina Daniels.
The senator also dismissed claims that he has been in contact with her, stressing instead that she needs to undergo therapy.
In a lengthy Instagram post shared on Tuesday, Nwoko included screenshots of what he said was their final WhatsApp exchange. He outlined the timeline and circumstances of their fallout, alleging that Regina has been heavily influenced by hard drugs, which he claims resulted in several erratic and aggressive behaviors.
He explained that he decided to publish the October 17 WhatsApp message to set the record straight and reveal the ultimatum he gave concerning her rehabilitation.
His statement emphasized:
“Senator Ned Nwoko is not chatting with Regina and does not want her back in the house. All he is insisting on is that she should be encouraged to go to therapy,”
The statement also dismissed Regina’s accusations involving drugs and sexual misconduct, describing them as baseless and purely imaginary, insisting that they cannot be proven.
