Jigawa state governor, Sule Lamido has been quoted as saying he betrayed Rivers State Governor, Rotimi Ameachi; Kwara State Governor, Abdulfatah Ahmed; Sokoto State Governor, Aliyu Wammako; Kano State Governor, Rabiu Kwankwanso; and the impeached Governor of Adamawa State, Murtala Nyako.
PREMIUMT TIMES on Tuesday reported that Lamido made the comment after Governor Kwankwaso accused him of betraying the G-5 Governors who defected from the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP to the All Progressives Congress, APC.
Lamido said, ”Yes, I betrayed them. I am a betrayer. Confirmed”
Lamido however said he will never join the APC
”How would I join APC? If wishes were horses, there won’t be APC”, Lamido said.
