Mayorkun, a popular artist also known as Adewale Emmanuel Mayowa, recently gave his fans a sneak peek of an unreleased song that he made with Mohbad, his late colleague.
Unfortunately, on September 12, 2023, Mohbad, a former signee of Naira Marley’s record label, died at the age of 27 under mysterious circumstances, which left Nigerians in despair and led to multiple protests demanding justice for his death.
In a recent video, Mayorkun sang and vibed to the song with Mohbad sitting next to him, which once again stirred emotions among his fans. It is worth noting that this is not the first time that a song by the late artist has been made public after his passing, with some netizens pointing out that he is still making money even after his death.
Furthermore, Chike, another singer, recently released a song titled “Egwu” in honor of Mohbad after his passing.
