The condolence message to the bereaved governor was released by the Director General of the Nigeria Governors’ Forum (NGF), Mr. Asishana Okauru.

The statement read: “We hereby condole with Governor Isa Yuguda, the government and people of Bauchi State and the entire Yuguda family over the death of Hajiya Hafsat Yuguda Ibrahim, the immediate younger sister of Governor Yuguda, who died of cancer on Wednesday.

“It is unfortunate that Mrs. Ibrahim passed on at a time our country needed her invaluable service most. Her loss is no doubt a monumental loss to our nation.

“Mrs. Ibrahim’s departure is deeply painful and devastating. But we take solace in the fact that she lived and died well. She dedicated her life to raising her children and serving her people and country. We believe she will long be remembered for the services she rendered to her community.

“We commiserate with her family, friends and associates, the people and government of Bauchi and pray almighty Allah to give us all the fortitude to bear this great loss.”
