Unknown gunmen have murdered the daughter of the Director General of Governor Umaru Al-Makura’s campaign organisation in Katsina.
Mrs Amina Suleiman was found in the pool of her blood with her neck cut and a knife in her stomach.
Mr Namairo Babai, younger brother to the DG, Alhaji Illu, confirmed the death of the seven months pregnant woman in Lafia, the Nasarawa State capital.
He said: “Her husband was on his way to Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria. After the weekend, when he tried calling but couldn’t get her, he sent someone to check; he was told that she was slaughtered and was in a pool of her blood.”
The deceased, who got married two years ago, w has since been buried by in her husband’s home town, Katsina State, according to Muslim rites.
Among the first callers at the compound on Shendam Road in Lafia, family compound on Shendam Road in Lafia was the wife of the state governor, Hajia Salamatu Tanko Al-Makura.
