Funsho Adeoti has finally addressed the incident where she appeared to snub her husband, prominent entrepreneur Kazim Adeoti, at a recent party in the U.S.
This was the couple’s first public appearance together since Kazim’s marriage to Nollywood actress Mercy Aigbe, which Funsho had openly opposed.
During the event, Kazim and his friends showered Funsho with dollar bills while a band played. Despite the grand gesture, Funsho noticeably ignored Kazim, though she warmly interacted with others.
Following the event, Mercy Aigbe expressed her admiration for Kazim and lamented missing the occasion. In response, Funsho took to her Instagram story to share a video emphasizing the importance of protecting one’s peace and responding wisely to life’s challenges.
Her message read: “It’s not what happens to you, it’s always how you react to it! Protect your peace.”
