Funke Akindele has denied claims that she ignored Fuji legend Pasuma during a recent event.
The controversy started after an X user shared a short clip suggesting the actress snubbed the veteran performer in public. The edited video quickly gained attention online and sparked mixed reactions.
Reacting on X on Sunday, Funke dismissed the allegation and explained that the narrative was false.
“Snub? Hell no. Stop the negativity pls. I saw him, greeted him, and danced with him. Pasuma is my egbon. Pls you all should stop this evil.”
The viral footage only captured a brief moment while Funke was exchanging pleasantries with Fathia Balogun during her birthday celebration, with Pasuma seated nearby.
However, a longer version of the clip later surfaced, showing Funke warmly greeting Pasuma, smiling, and interacting with him before moving on to other guests.
Many fans shared the extended footage, arguing that the earlier video had been selectively edited to create a misleading impression.
