Renowned Nollywood actress, Funke Akindele, has agreed to Big Brother Naija ‘No Loose Guard’ housemate Wanni’s request to join her movie production team.
During a conversation with fellow housemates on Wednesday in the ongoing season 9 of the show, Wanni expressed her desire to work with Akindele and Kunle Afolayan.
She said, “I want to be part of Funke Akindele’s and Kunle Afolayan’s productions. Funke Akindele is huge, the quality of her movies is top-notch, and she’s a veteran in the industry.”
An X user, @GloriaNapier9, shared the video and tagged Akindele, asking her to consider Wanni’s request. She tweeted, “@funkeakindele your highness ma. No one does it like you ma, please hear our baby’s request. Thank you in advance.”
In response, Akindele confirmed her acceptance by resharing the clip in a now viral post on X, writing, “Will be waiting. All the best dear.”
