Information reaching us is that Federal University of Agriculture Abeokuta has been shutdown following the shooting of a student during a peaceful protest.
A source at the school told us that the protest was as a result of robberies to private hostels around the school.
The students where protesting, and the police were called in to keep things calm. A police apparently miss fired and shot a student. Taiwo Abisoye was reportedly shot, but is currently recuperating in the hospital

We were told the school has been shutdown indefinitely following the incident.
